CoProduce Care has been created to open up debates, opportunities, support and discussions across social care

Coproduce Care started out of frustration that a lot of the decisions being made in social care are carried out behind closed doors and from the top down, leaving out the majority of those affected by or working in such a key part of our communities. This includes people looking after friends or relatives, night staff, care co-ordinators, SME care providers, those looking for care for a friend or loved one. Also anyone in the general public curious about how the health and social care system works.

It is a free resource

Our platform is designed to kick start a wider conversation about care but also how social care and health interact with each other. Therefore, our group of volunteers and sponsors are creating this resource free of charge. However please get in touch if you would like to donate to keep the conversation alive!

We put those who are involved in caring, working in care and those needing or using care services at the heart of social care improvement and change

We hope our interactive site and hub will:

Connect people:

By setting up informal ways of helping people support each other within their community.

Coproduce care through influencing care law and policy:

We support people to find, understand and respond to government consultations on health and social care changes. We feel that public voices are not effectively sought or considered in health and social care change and we want to help change that.

Knowledge share:

We hope to develop a space funding opportunities, blogs on rights and services, and general advice or guidance can be shared to help spread positive and helpful knowledge about social care to everyone for free.

We are also hoping to spread social care information through our digital media channel

Filled with video updates and in-depth chats with both leaders and key decision makers across the sector.

We are a team of care professionals, volunteers and apprentices with different skills and abilities. We would love to see you support us by spreading the word, speaking to the decision-makers and democratising the care debate.

Get Involved

We will be relying on a small but dedicated team and volunteers.

So, if you would like to be involved, please get in touch at hi@coproducecare.com and help us open up the care debate, properly democratise care and please do join and share Coproduce Care:
