CQC's Out of Sight report: Restraint, Segregation & Seclusion - One Year on
An all day online conference to discuss the Out of sight CQC report from October 2020. What has changed, stayed the same or needs to change?

On November 4th 2021, we ran our very first Online Conference Livestream from 10:00 - 16:30.
We looked at the findings and impact of a major report that was released by the CQC in October 2020:
Out of sight - who cares?: Restraint, segregation and seclusion review.
This is a ground-breaking review of restraint, seclusion and segregation for autistic people and people with a learning disability and/or mental health condition.
The report tells the story of restrictive practices from their perspective.
We discussed what has changed and what has stayed the same, a year later with a panel of expert speakers.
